25th Annual Chamber Golf Classic
The 25th Annual Golf Classic presented by TBayTel, took place Thursday, August 19th at Whitewater Golf Club. A full complement of 144 golfers participated. The winning team of the day was Smith & Associates; Greg Jarvis, John Shaw and MaryAnn and Chick Chiccorli and the all women entrepreneurial team comprised of Charlene Van Someren, Leanne Barr, Juliette Collier and Rajni Agarwal took the “Most Honest Team” Award. As the self-proclaimed new kid on the
block, Blaze Fireplace and Stone seem to be
fitting in to the Thunder Bay neighbourhood
just fine since they opened for business in June.
“I have been promoting and selling fireplaces and stone products for the last eleven

Reminder: TBCC Board Elections - Oct 2010
The deadline for the first slate of nominations was August 31st – the membership will receive the first slate of candidates with the September quarterly newsletter. Additional nominations are invited up to, and including September 30th, and must be submitted in writing with ten (10) signatures (the forms are available in the Chamber office), along with the nominee’s written consent. The election for the five Board positions will be held in October.
