HST Questions & Answers
I just met with a member, a retailer, who has not been getting information back from the government on several points, but one in particular was very interesting. Up to now, he is eligible for a 5% “fee” on his PST remittances to help with his costs/time to collect them; under the new HST, this appears to be gone; for him, it is close to a $1,500 hit, the maximum allowed.
