Post-Secondary Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards
To recognize post-secondary students' entrepreneurial spirit in the district of Thunder Bay. Students must be enrolled full time in a program at a post-secondary institution in Thunder Bay and entering their graduating year. Two (2) Entrepreneurial Spirit awards will be awarded annually to students enrolled full time at a post-secondary institution in Thunder Bay. The deadline to apply is January 31st. $500 High School Scholarships
The winners of the 2009 Chamber of Commerce Scholarships were Megan Bates of Sir Winston Churchill and Lucas Rizzo of St. Ignatius.
The Chamber of Commerce Scholarships are being offered again in 2010, and are in their 18th year. All candidates must be secondary school graduates from Thunder Bay planning to attend a Post-Secondary Institution in Thunder Bay the following school year in a business-related course. Applications will be available at all the high schools, and in the Chamber office. Please call 624-2626 for more information. The deadline for applications is April 16, 2010.
