January 23 Michael Nitz (Chair of the Board of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce) and Harold Wilson (President, Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce) read a deputation at the City Council meeting regarding the Citys Official Plan.
The Official Plan is a policy document which contains objectives and policies aimed at improving the existing physical environment of our City. It serves as a road map providing direction for all of Council's decisions on land use. The Official Plan process should take 8 months; this is the start. Read more
The Chamber is currently preparing a deputation regarding the City's budget for the next council meeting scheduled February 7.
 January 25th the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce held the 47th Annual General Meeting at the Valhalla Inn.
